Monday Update

Unfortunately Mother nature could not wait until April fools day to play her practical joke. Poor Justin had to shovel the 3+ inches of snow in the drive way. Fortunately for me I am prego and cannot help him...although...maybe I should.

My Dr. visit was uneventful. The Dr. reported that I am all baby, which is a very good thing in her opinion. Her guess was the baby was around 7 lbs. but no more than 7 max. She also pointed out that I have a night owl for a baby. It does not necessarily mean once I have the baby it will be more active at night. It just means no sleep for mom now. I am measuring right on schedule so the due date stays. No dilation, still thinning, however she did tell me not to get discouraged, it could change in the matter of minutes.

The baby is lower and I am still thinning. Good news is the baby is going in the right direction. The bad new is the baby is just not there yet. For now we just wait...

Happy Easter to everyone!

No news on the baby yet. Justin and I are just waiting for our little one to get here. I know I am ready to be finished being prego. We have been taking advantage of our time together. We have been going out to dinner quite a bit lately Justin took me to Dixie's in St. Paul yesterday. YUM that was good. I wonder where we will go today?

I will be going to the Dr. every Monday from here on out so we will keep everyone updated.

Hello Belly!!!

I wanted to update yall on what is happening. No baby yet...I did go to the doctor today. She told me I am lower and thinning. It was kind of flattering hearing that at least something was getting thinner. I just wish I could say the same for my ankles.

Justin is getting really excited. Sunday night we went shopping for all of the stuff for our overnight bag. We had a lot of fun walking around Walmart. He was disappointed when we found out I was not dilated at all today. I think he wants the baby to come more than me sometimes. Justin wants the baby to come before the playoffs so the little one can watch the Wild win the Stanley Cup with her daddy.

Baby Shower

We had our baby shower on Friday. I am glad my work allowed me to use their bar to have the party. Of course leave it to me to forget my camera so right now I am waiting for some pictures to get emailed to me that were taken from people who are not as forgetful as I am. I will get those posted as soon as I get them.

Justin and I had lots of fun and are very grateful for all of the wonderful gifts we received.

Quite frankly it was a bit overwhelming for both of us. I think reality set in that we are in fact going to have a baby. We got so many newborn clothes that I think we will have 1 outfit for each day for her first three months. Below are pictures of the closet...our little one has more outfits than her mom and dad!

Here is the recliner we were waiting on. Now we have to rearrange the furniture a bit to make it fit better.

Update...

Justin and I ventured up north to visit Bronson and Amy this last weekend. It was so much fun to see them and to hang out. I am so glad that I had the chance to go up there when we did. Saturday was absolutely beautiful. It was almost like spring!

Not much happening here. I went to my 34 week appointment and my Dr. told me everything is going smoothly and she said the next six weeks will fly by. I sure hope she is right! Baby Vinge is running out of space! It is getting pretty uncomfortable and wonder when the baby is going to stop doing flips in my belly.

48 Days to go!

We took some advise that was on my baby website to get all of the things we wanted to get done before the baby. Justin tackled our bathroom and gave it a much needed face lift. I must say he has a good eye. He called me at work last Friday and told me he picked out the paint color and new medicine cabinet. He did everything from paining the ceiling to replacing the light switches. He is my younger and better looking Bob Vila! Here

As for me I am feeling as well as can be expected. I have the normal aches and pains. I just wish I had x-ray vision so I could see what the little one is doing in there. She is very active especially when I go to bed and wake up in the morning. I must admit I like having the company on the way into work. She loves it when KQRS plays the Beatles. I am posting a 33 week photo of my belly for thoes of you who want to see how much my belly has grown.

Justin and I just watched the video on Parker and Bella’s site. Justin said he misses his little buddy Parker and will blow up if he does not see him soon.

Here is it! We have finally got most of the babies room put together. The furniture is still subject to moving and we still have to decided on where to hang some pictures. I want to give thanks to my mom. She is the one that made the curtain, and it matches the bedding. She defiantly has a talent. Currently we are still waiting on a recliner we purchased for the room. It will be here the first week of March. Hope you all like it...
