Where does the time go?
I also turned 30...yes, it took almost an entire month before I can openly admit that I am no longer in my Twenties. The day after my birthday we found out that our family will be growing again! Addy and Sean will become a big sister and big brother! We can expect our bundle the beginning of June 2010.

Aug. update
Well...Addy and I went for a hearing test...again. She finally passed "her good ear" the ear nose and throat Dr. said she did have hearing loss from the fluid in her ears. I decided that if he was willing to offer tubes it was the way to go.
Addy and I prepared for the big day...Aug 24 2009 she was going to get tubes at 1pm. I called in back up (my mom) to support me as I support my daughter.
To make a long story short:
Addy now hates the "scrubs" color blue and does not trust anyone who has a stethoscope.
Mommy is glad Addy kept her eyes closed as she was gassed.
Everything went well.
Addy did well, she was herself come Monday Night and was back to her normal routine on Thursday.
She is talking more, walking without falling more, talking with her vowels more and just enjoying life. For mom...well...she needs less attention. That is great! One more step to mom's independence.
My Mom did come to visit, poor woman. I dragged her up North, she now knows what "Up North" means. We had great food and a relaxing time. We also saw the underwater adventures in the Mall of America. Coolest aquarium EVER! we really enjoyed that.
Addy loved her time with Grandma Ruth and wants to see her again!
Addy is great and is doing just fine! I appreciate every one's prayers in this trying time. Thank you and we love you!

April Update
Addy turned one year old!!! I must say I did not believe people when they said it would go by so fast. Our little Addy has such a personality it is unbelievable. She goes to the beat of her own drummer. I love her more and more every day.
We got back from Florida...what a great time! Addy was so upset when we came back home. The first morning home I know she was looking for the pool. It made me feel bad but luckily our weather has taken a turn towards Spring! We thought it would never come! Enjoy the slide show of our trip.
As stated in the slide show Addy has a new love for Hannah Montana...she was doing a little dance to the singing card Sean got her. It was priceless.
Addy did go to her 12 mo. check up. She still has fluid behind her ears. It is just a little fluid so maybe she will start talking soon. She is in the 44% for height at 29 inches and in the 16% for weight at 19lbs 1oz.

Addy visits Washington
As for the pole...Addy's first word was "yea" and tonight she did put together the word "do-og" that would be Dog and she was mimicking mommy saying "all done" Okay...her first word was "Da-da" she would point to the recliner and say "da-da"...but I like "yea" better...it's a mom thing.
By the way...for anyone wondering about the "Addy V.S. sleep" She is 100% crib bound. I like to think of it as my friend Steve says "one step closer to my own independence" Yea For Addy in the crib.
We did also get her 100% on table food and absolutely NO BOTTLES!!!
YEAH FOR NO MORE BOTTLES!!!!!

Hello all
Addy went to see her grandparents this past week. She was really sick though, mommy and her went to urgent care first thing Sunday morning and was diagnosed with bronchitis and a double ear infection (again). We then caught a flight to WA at 7pm. Addy was great! she did cry for the next 72 hours but did snap back to her self for Grandma and Grandpa B. She did love it for the last 2 days playing with Loki. I am just waiting on some pics from G-ma and G-pa. I will share those when I get them. Take care everyone!

What is going on!!
Well, tonight, Justin was sitting in the recliner and I was upstairs getting some laundry. I heard Addy yelling for me, as she always does when she sits at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me to return. Well, as I looked down the banister I suddenly yell for Justin. Addy had crawled up her first step! In no time she was on to the second step but seemed so unsure of herself. Just a few minutes later Kelli from next door came over and Addy had to show off. She crawled all the way from the basement to the kitchen. It was amazing that in a matter of 1/2 an hour she was able to do that. We are very proud of our big girl! she is growing so fast.
In the last week Addy has had the following milestones.
Sunday night - Learned to pull herself up, thanks to her brother Sean.
Monday night - found a new fascination with the toilet paper roll in the bathroom.
Tuesday night - she cried a lot!
Wed. night - whined in the hallway looking for Sean (very sad for mommy)
Thursday night - Crawled up the stairs!
What will happen next?
Friday night - Addy borrows the car, gets a job and gets a scholarship to Harvard???

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I know, I know, I know...It has taken a long time for me to update this but it has been a very stressful time. I am sure we can all relate the economy is down and companies are down sizing. It was very tense at work this week and layoffs came on Thursday. It was a very sad time and I pray for all those people who have lost their jobs they find new work and all is well.
Christmas has come and gone. We had a great time with Grandma Diane as she cooked a wonderful dinner on Christmas Eve. We all enjoyed it as Sean constantly reminded us that there were presents under the tree that needed some opening. We tortured the poor boy and made him wait until after dinner. Sean had a great time and we were so happy that he loved his gift. At least next year we can all place bets on the - Dad vs. Son Deer hunt. (Don't tell Justin my bet is on Sean)
Below are a few pictures of the the fun night.
Addy was great and went to bed early Christmas Eve but she did what babies do best...keep it interesting...Mommy and Daddy were hoping to get a good nights sleep because we were going to take a trip on Christmas day. We had an early flight to visit my folks in Washington State. Addy woke up about 10pm and cried until 12:30am. This was the first time she had done anything like that. We had to get up at 4am to go to the airport so we were very tired when we got to the airport. Addy was great on the flight in and we all got to Washington safely and rested on the flights.
It was nice to have my family together for once but it was not the same without having Sean there. My brother Charles was there with his boys Presley and Paden. We had more great food and all got to visit. Charles left the day after Christmas so we only had a short time together. However I have to challenge him to another game of Laser Tag and next time...I will take no prisoners! That's right Charles...it is on like Donkey Kong!
I also had the opportunity to see my Best Friends Lauren and Angie while I was out there. I was able to meet Kaleb for the first time,Kaleb is Lauren's little boy. Last time I saw her she was 8 mo prego and I was only 2 mo prego. It was just amazing to see her and now we are all grown up. We use to play Barbies, now Lauren is giving me tips on what to give Addy for teething...wow...life changes. Angie is also doing well. We had the perfect window when we met Angie, Addy had come down with a fever and was in a very bad mood, except for the hour and a half when we went to meet Angie at PF Chang's.
Here are some photos from my parents:
Photo of all the boys doing what they do best, lounging in front of the TV!

Jeff (Charles best Friend growing up) showing off his laser tag skills.
Later Friday night Addy decided to give us all a belated Christmas present. She started crawling! It was amazing to see her get some more independence and be able to get around. Now we just have to work on going up and down the stairs.
As we all saw, Washington had a lot of snow and there was a perfect opportunity for Justin to play with my Daddio's toy! He was out playing in the snow with the Kubota for at least an hour and a half! Now we just have to move where we have more land so Justin can get his own Kubota to play with.
Sunday we ended up taking Addy to the urgent care, she had a fever of 101 that would not go down. We discovered she had an ear infection, again. God bless antibiotics! Addy was good as gold when we got on the flight Monday morning. Again, she was an angel on the flight. I just hope she keeps her great flight behavior throughout her childhood.
One of the small plains we flew on
Daddy was able to take Addy to the Dr. There was nothing but good news. Addy is doing great, she is growing. We are a little baffled. she was in the 80th percentile for height at her last apt. Now she is in the 30 percentile for weight and the 29th for height...29? The Dr said she might be short but we are just going to go with it and see what the 12 mo brings us. Addy is doing well. Crawling better and faster each day. Practicing on her next step...standing. She is getting really good at pulling herself up. It is amazing to see her grow so fast. She is our little princess.
