Welcome Jordana!

I know it has taken some time to get this post on here. It is so much easier when I had my laptop. It crashed and I have Addy on my lap trying to help me type when I am on our other computer.

We welcomed our second beautiful daughter on June 9th at 10:14am. She was 8lbs 8oz and boy was I glad to see her!

It had been a painful last 2 and a half weeks of pregnancy with false labor and stalled labor. Even when it came down to the real deal I was not sure it was really happening. When I finally decided we needed to go the hospital my contractions were very close, the nurse told me I should have been there 2 hours ago but she did not blame me for holding out after being sent home twice already.

I had a fever when I delivered so Jordana did end up in the level II nursery and was treated with antibiotics for 48 hours and was kept one more night for observation. We were able to bring her home on Saturday the 12th. That was the best day of my life as we pulled into the parking lot of the hospital, my phone rang and the doctor said "how would you like to bring your baby home?" I was so happy, told the doctor we would be there in 5 min to get her and we were!

Below are some pictures of Jordana meeting her family for the first time

Addy with Grandma and Grandpa

Addy has been having tons of fun in Washington State.
Here are some pictures of Addy at the wedding. Don't worry it is sparkling cider that she is drinking.

Addy has also been hard at work in Grandmas garden. looks as though they had her doing some agility training as well. It is nice to see she is able to have some fun time in the garden too.

Addy shows Grandma and Grandpa that she can clean!

Addy Chilling in her new favorite chair.
Lauren and Ryan's son Kaleb came over to play. They are so cute together.
Addy shows off her muscles!

May Update...

Well, it is lonely here without Addy. She is on Vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Bloom in Washington. We are finding out it is easier to make a decision to do something and just...do it when you don't have a kid around.

I am waiting on some pictures of Adelyn in her flower girl dress so I can post them up here. I am a little sad I was not able to see her. A bit more that I was unable to attend Angie's wedding.

The baby poll has been going on. Justin put in a request that I have the baby on Friday. I told him he was the second person that asked if I could wait until then so I will try to accommodate.

Just got the carpets cleaned so we can check that one off the list. What to do next...

April 2010

New years resolution to keep Blog up to date…broken.

Well here we are in April, Addy had a huge week with Easter and her Birthday. Addy loved Easter, loved wearing her fancy dress and loved searching for Easter Eggs. I think she also loved the fact that she got to eat mostly candy all day long .

Addy had her 2 year birthday on the 6th. She was super excited about her cake and the attention at daycare. When we ask her how old she is she will hold up one finger on each hand and whisper “Two.” It is just so freaking adorable.

Here I am 6 more weeks to go before the estimated arrival of our newest family member. I can say that I have been doing well. I have not blogged much about this pregnancy, but there is not much to say. It has been going rather smoothly. Other than a few cankle moments from being on my feet too much and some bouts with sever back pain. I can say it has been good. I am just ready for this to all be over. I want my body back to myself.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Christmas morning brought lots and lots of snow! Justin had the wonderful task of clearing out the driveway for Grandpa Gary. Addy watched from inside wondering what exactly her dad was doing.

We had the ham in the oven and started opening all of our wonderful gifts. Addy was all dressed up with her special Christmas Dress from Grandma Ruth.

The day after Christmas we went to the water park by our house. Addy went down a few slides but had more fun sitting in the water and splashing around. I have no pictures because I was in the water with her. Here Addy is in her swimsuit.

After a lot of splashing we headed home for the night. Sean was able to stay at the park and have lots of fun swimming, sliding and playing in the arcade. We had tons of fun!

Here is Addy being cute trying to convince us that she is not ready for bed yet.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful new year.
