Found a foot!

The bambino started something new, she has started to stretch her legs out! As I drove home yesterday I felt a lot of presser in my upper belly. I did not think much of it until I got home. I was laying on the couch and felt the same crazy pressure, I looked down and it looked like I had stuck a golf ball in my shirt. It was so funny! I wish I had gotten a picture. I wished I could have played with it more too, but I started to rub the bump and it sank back down into my belly. It was cool to see though! I am totally amazed by this pregnancy thing. Some times it is miserable but it is more amazing than anything. I had to share that with you all.

I did notice last night I have a very limited time before the baby will reach my ribs. I have been warned by many. I believe the quote I get is "just wait until it starts kicking your ribs." I was laying in bed last night and it dawned on me that there is about an inch more until she will be able to reach them. I don't know what to think about that. I have learned this baby does not like things in its space. We will see how the next few weeks go.

Happy New Year

Well here we go! I figured that I will post the most recent belly picture for those of you who that are not here to see me grow. It may not be the best photo because I took it myself in the bathroom mirror.

We have the babies room all painted now and the crib and changing table are put together. Let me tell you the chaining table was a "relationship builder." I love those directions that give each piece a number but the pieces themselves are not numbered. It was great! The crib was easier to put together. As soon as we have the room complete we will post before and after pictures.

New years was uneventful. We made a wonderful dinner, put together the changing table (that was an event), popped in a movie, fell asleep, woke up just in time to see the ball drop and then went back to bed. I am sure next year we will be ringing in the new year a bit differently.

CHRISTMAS 2007

This year was a fun one at the Grand Rios hotel and indoor water park. The best part was getting to visit with Santa. Here is a picture of the Vinge girls with Santa. I am on the left, Angie in the middle and Amy on the right. Don't we look good!

Well, my little kick boxer is growing and growing. She is kicking harder for a lot longer period of time! I did a kick count and there were about 32 kicks in an hour and a half. As annoying as it gets some nights; it keeps me at ease knowing that she is in there doing what she has to do. I still cannot wait until April.

Justin and I are going to hit the babies room after Christmas so I will be posting before and after photos. It will be so much fun to get that room put together. We are still waiting on the phone call from Babies R Us to come pick up our crib and changing table. I am glad we got on a waiting list when we did for our furniture. I had no idea how hard it is to find baby furniture in stock. Once I began telling people how we will have to wait almost a month for our furniture I found that it is very common. I would have never expected it would take so long.

Our little one did get some great gifts at Christmas. Pretty pink outfits from Grandma Diane and Grandpa "horsey" Dennis, Great Grandma Peggy and Cousins Parker and Bella!

She is a ninja!

Thanksgiving was very fun for us. We enjoyed Thanksgiving with friends and family. Friday Justin, Sean and I joined Grandpa Gary down in Iowa to visit Angie, Josh, Parker and Bella. Parker was just full of life and Bella was just cuter than a button. I don't have any pictures though. Ironically I finally remembered to bring my camera, I just forgot the battery that was charging in the wall. oops!

Since Sunday our little one has been a kicking away. I think she wants more turkey and gravy. I found myself up until almost midnight last night. She must have decided she needed a change. It was the first time that could really feel any kicks through my belly. It was non stop for at least 6 hours! She must have found a comfortable place to be, I have not been feeling her as much. Although, it does look like she created a bit more room for herself. :)

For those of you who do not get to see me very often I will post picutres of my growing belly. These are of me at 20 weeks and 1 day. I have been told that I am not very big for 5 months. I have no problem what so ever with those opinions. Let me know what you think!

It's ...well 85% sure it's a girl!

Holy cow! I cannot believe it! It seemed like this day has taken forever and it seems like just yesterday that we were waiting to hear the news. Well we finally got to answer the burning question. Girl! Justin and I could not be happier, we are now just giggling at the thought that today makes it more official. It is more real now that we can say we are going to have a daughter. Not just a baby a daughter! Here are some pictures of the little one we got today. The first shot is of the baby's torso and head. She has her hand up to her mouth. The second photo is of her foot.
