Wow Addy has had such a crazy summer I figured I would let her put together a great movie and let everyone know where she has been in just short 5 months she has been in this world.

Adelyn Update!

So much as been going on. Addy started to roll over onto her tummy and from her tummy to her back. However, Addy learned quick that it is easier to cry on her tummy and have mom and dad put her on her back insead of rolling back over on her own..

Addy had her 4 moth wellness check up on Wednesday. She is growing up more that out. She is 25 inches long that puts her in the 78th percentile and 13 lbs. that puts her in the 35th percentile. It is no surprise that we have created a tall skinny baby. She is also working on her first tooth. We did get the news that we can start eating fruits and veggies! I will try to get that video up here. It is not working for some reason.

Addy wants to give her Grandma and Grandpa Bloom a great big thank you. She got her Exersaucer on Thursday. She enjoys sitting in it and looking at everything. Mommy loves it too because she can get a bit more done.

Addy feeling better

Addy was sick for the first time last Friday. We went to the hospital a 5:30 Friday morning with a fever of 101.5 when we got there she was so whinging I had never heard her sound so sad my heart broke. She just had a cold but she was feeling very down and out for Friday and Saturday. Sunday she was feeling better and had bounced back for Monday, daycare said she had an awesome day. I was so happy to see her feeling better. I still wish that a baby was born with an instruction manual. But we made it through.

Unfortunately we were sick for daddy's birthday but dad had a great birthday. He was given some great golf balls and had a weekend packed full of golf...golf...golf. Happy Birthday to Justin!

July update

Okay...okay...I know it has been a while since I updated the blog but man alive it has been a crazy month. It was also a month of first times for Addy.

We started off with going up north for the 4th of July we had so much fun and it was a great ending to my maternity leave. Adelyn got to go on her first boat ride and was in her first parade! She took part of the 4th of July boat parade, she enjoyed it for a few minutes...then the engine sound put her right to sleep. We will have to wait until next year for her first time seeing fireworks, she slept through those as well.

I began work on July 7th. That was a bit of an adjustment, I was getting use to waking up at 7 and taking my time getting ready and getting Addy ready. I also enjoyed all of the time I was spending with Sean. We were having so much fun but of course reality sets in. Addy adjusted to daycare well. I am still adjusting to daycare.

Adelyn and I went to Louisiana for Cousins weekend on July 10. She was absolutely wonderful the entire time. She met her great grandma and all of her cousins. She had a ton of fun with the family. She did create a reputation for herself...now she just has to be a perfect child every time we go to visit the family. She set the bar high for herself. I will have a slide show of cousin's weekend posted in a few days.

Addy wanted to say a few words to everyone...

4th of July

Look at me...I'm like Daddy!

Here is Addy in Justin's glasses...yes this is what we do when we have nothing better to do on a Friday night. My how life changes.

We had loads of fun at Bronson and Mimi's wedding. It was very beautiful and we are all so happy for the couple. I am also excited that I have a wonderful sister-in-law. Addy also got to meet Uncle Josh, Aunt Angie, Parker and Bella for the first time. It was so much fun having everyone together again. Below are some fun photos of the weekend.

Grandma Diane with Sean, Bella and Addy...Umm...Grandma Diane...where is Parker?

Bronson and BEAUTIFUL Amy!

Sean at rehearsal dinner

We think Addy was embarrassed at her Mommy's dancing.

After all this fun and excitement I just hung out with Addy and Sean all week. I have been busy that is for sure. Addy was a little off from being on vacation but I think I have her back on track...until 4th of July weekend. Yea for 4th of July!

Sean and I were going to take Addy to lake Orno on Thursday but Adelyn was very fussy that day...instead Sean found a Woodchuck in the back yard. Yes, I said Wood Chuck! It is living under our shed...and to think for the last 4 years I just thought it was rabbits. I will take a video of that when we catch it!

Cornhole!

This last weekend Justin decided to put his wood working skills to the test and make a Cornhole game. Yes, Justin is the Cornhole Master! Others may know the game as Baggo or Bean Bag Toss. Justin found directions on how to make an official Cornhole game for himself. It was lots of fun to watch him make and we are so excited to play the game. Below are pictures of Justin's masterpieces.
Sean was also excited about the game. He was great with helping his Dad make the set. He was also very happy that he is finally out of school. I asked him how it felt to be out the 4th grade. He said it felt good! He is excited to be going into the 5th grade.

Grandpa Gary came over and saved the day when he brought us lunch. Double cheeseburgers from McDonald's. YUM! Here is Adelyn and Grandpa Gary having a heart to heart.
Adelyn enjoys sleeping in with Mom and Dad on the Weekends. If we bring her into the bed when she wakes up at 6:30 she will snooze the morning away. Here is Justin and Addy on Sunday morning. Addy even out slept her Daddy! She did not get up until almost noon.

Addy then and now

Addy 8 hours old - our little squeaker!

Addy 8 weeks old

I am trying to get Addy to smile on camera but it seems that every time I get the camera out she gets upset. I will see if I can get her smile in the morning. She still squeaks too! I will see if I can get that on tape also. Addy cannot wait to meet Aunt Angie and Uncle Josh and her cousins Parker and Bella in just a few weeks! She keeps asking me about them.
